Preview of my studio in the making!

It is a gray, dismal day in the Hudson Valley this morning-great day to create however I still have my studio under construction. It will be well worth the wait when it is complete. Until then I have nothing but cards I have done in the past. I am working amidst the mess on one special card for a family members birthday. Once it is complete and received I will post it. I have three grandchildren who live in Florida who won't be trick or treating at my house so I decided to make them cards with goodies enclosed!
Little girls seem to love Hello Kitty. Big ones do too! This was a real simple card to make. It didn't take the entire day like most do! It is simple but I love it!
Recipe:
Hello Kitty Cartridge-not sure of the size of the cut.( 4.25"?)
Black paper by DCWV
Basic white cardstock
Orange paint chip (there I go again!) for the pumpkin cut
Pumpkin from the October 31 Cricut Cartridge
"Boo" stamp from the dollar bin at Micheals
Orange satin ribbon for the top.
Short and sweet!
This is why I have come to an almost complete halt in my card making. Check out this mess! The furry fellow is my fat cat on a diet,Opie! He is always in the middle of everything. His main objective is to find food as he is totally convinced he is starving to death. Before you start feeling sorry for the guy...he weights in at 17.5 pounds. No, he is NOT starving to death however he isn't real happy with his recent nutritional restrictions that have been forced on him. Hey....I haven't dragged him to Weight Watchers meetings yet!
I'm feeling a bit lonely here....somebody please leave me a comment so I know I'm not talking to myself!
Until tomorrow.......stay well!

  1. This is soo cute! I LOVE Hello Kitty! Thanks for your sweet comments on my cards. The base of the christmas cards was actually a metallic gold cardstock but it looks a lot like kraft in the picture! :)
